Reimbursable services

If you are covered by Compulsory Health Insurance (PSD), you have the opportunity to receive funded dental prosthetic services at the OksDenta clinic. Below you will find all the necessary information regarding the services provided and the applicable conditions.

Funded Dental Prosthetics

At the OksDenta clinic, free dental prosthetic services are provided to everyone who has received a compensation from the Territorial Health Insurance Fund (TLK). Dental prosthetics can be performed using removable dentures or fixed prostheses on the patient’s healthy teeth or dental implants. This opportunity is available to the following patients insured by compulsory health insurance:

  • Children under the age of 18;
  • Persons who have reached the age of retirement;
  • Persons who have been declared incapacitated or partially incapacitated;
  • Persons who have undergone treatment for oncological diseases of the mouth, face, or jaws.

Dental prosthetic services are paid for by the Compulsory Health Insurance Fund (PSDF) based on actual costs, up to the following maximum amounts:

For retirees and incapacitated or partially incapacitated persons:

  1. Who have fewer than 10 functionally complete contacting pairs of natural or high-quality prosthetic antagonist teeth (from the first molar on one side to the first molar on the other) – up to €670.39;
  2. Diagnosed with pathological wear of all teeth exceeding grade II (more than 1/3 of the tooth crown height) – up to €670.39;
  3. Whose edentulous lower jaw in the area of teeth 4, 5, and 6 is less than 12 mm in height – up to €2,062.70 (determined by a medical board).

For children:

  1. Whose chewing system is still developing (prosthetics with temporary dentures or standard protective metal crowns) – up to €342.13;
  2. Whose chewing system is substantially formed (prosthetics using long-term structural materials) – up to €2,062.70 (determined by a medical board);

For persons treated for oral, facial, or jaw oncological diseases:

  1. After specific (radiation and/or chemotherapy) treatment, if there are fewer than 10 functionally complete contacting pairs of teeth – up to €670.39;
  2. After oral, facial, or jaw surgery involving soft tissue removal and/or jawbone resection – up to €2,062.70 (determined by a medical board).

To receive free dental prosthetic services, you must first visit the dentist at the Primary Ambulatory Health Care Institution (PASPĮ) where you are registered and complete an application. You will be placed on the list managed by the Territorial Health Insurance Fund. Depending on the queue, notification regarding your compensation may take from one to several years. Once you receive the official notification that your compensation has been granted, you can contact OksDenta. We will prepare an individual treatment plan and begin the dental prosthetic process.
